Join Ithaka Fellowship on Saturday, November 9th at the Christ Church Youth House as we take a look at the beautiful world of Outsider Art. Local artist Krystal Lyon will lead our lecture about Art Brut and Outsider artists and she will also give examples of how the act of creation has the power to heal and will connect the dots between creation and redemption. A Sandwich/Salad lunch will be served and over lunch we will discuss our inspirations, blockades and connect. After lunch a workshop will be offered so each participant can create a piece of Outsider Art that will hang anonymously at Christ Church in November and Christ Community Church of Chenoa in December as a traveling exhibit on Thanksgiving. (The piece will be returned to you after the New Year) The $12.00 fee covers the cost of lunch and art materials.
